Forklift Operator 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Location: Kansas City, KS
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 /hour
Schedule:

1st shift- Mon-Fri 6am-3pm
2nd Shift- Mon- Fri 2pm-10pm
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

About the Opportunity

A local company is looking for dependable Forklift Operators to join its team. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking for consistent hours and the opportunity to become a permanent member of the team. Permanent position includes benefits and other perks.

This position involves general warehouse work, order picking, material handling, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Operate Forklift Load and Unload Material
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
Perform general warehouse and material handling duties.
Read and follow pick sheets and work instructions.
Move and organize products throughout the warehouse.
Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Work collaboratively with other members of the warehouse team.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
This company will train associates on the forklift

Requirements

Prior Forklift Operating Experience
Ability to speak and read English as required to understand work instructions and safety information.
General warehouse experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and remain active throughout the workday.
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse that can be hot during the summer and cold during the winter.
Dependable and team-oriented.
Must meet required pre-employment screening criteria

Reading pick sheets.
