As a Retirement Plan Manager, you'll combine relationship management, retirement plan expertise, and strategic consulting to help clients navigate complex retirement plan decisions and achieve meaningful outcomes for their organizations and participants.

In this role, you'll serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of retirement plan clients while partnering with advisors, recordkeepers, custodians, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and guidance. You'll play a key role in plan governance, participant outcomes, vendor management, compliance coordination, and overall client satisfaction while helping drive continued growth and innovation across our retirement practice.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Serve as the primary relationship manager and consultant for an assigned portfolio of retirement plan clients, delivering responsive service and strategic guidance.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with plan sponsors, fiduciary committees, HR leaders, and key stakeholders.
• Lead annual and quarterly client review meetings focused on plan performance, participant outcomes, fiduciary best practices, and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate and oversee day-to-day service delivery for 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and 414(h) retirement plans.
• Support clients through plan enhancements, mergers, vendor transitions, fund changes, and other special projects while ensuring a seamless implementation experience.
• Coordinate investment review processes and support fiduciary governance activities in partnership with advisors and investment professionals.
• Provide guidance on retirement plan operations, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with compliance professionals and legal resources when appropriate.
• Deliver participant education meetings, enrollment presentations, and financial wellness programs that improve employee engagement and retirement readiness.
• Collaborate with recordkeepers, third-party administrators, custodians, broker-dealers, and other service providers to support effective plan administration.
• Assist plan sponsors and administrators with operational questions, issue resolution, and service concerns.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes through additional retirement, wealth management, and employee benefits solutions.
• Support business development efforts through prospect meetings, RFP responses, finalist presentations, and implementation of new client relationships.
• Monitor service standards, client satisfaction, and operational processes while recommending improvements that enhance efficiency and consistency.

What You Bring

Day One:

• 3+ years of retirement plan consulting, retirement plan advisory, recordkeeping, TPA, or retirement services experience.
• Active Nebraska Life and Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain upon hire.
• FINRA Series 6 or Series 7 license and Series 63, 65, or 66 license.
• Strong working knowledge of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b), and governmental retirement plans.
• Experience managing client relationships and serving as a primary point of contact for retirement plan sponsors.
• Strong understanding of fiduciary governance, plan operations, and retirement plan service models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Valuable Additions:

• QKA, QKC, CRPS, AIF®, CPFA®, CFP®, ChFC®, or similar industry designation.
• Experience conducting fiduciary review meetings and investment committee presentations.
• Experience supporting public sector and healthcare retirement plans.
• Familiarity with major retirement plan providers, custodians, and recordkeepers.
• Experience supporting both retirement plan and wealth management clients.
• Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and service enhancements.

*Any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with applicable state pay transparency laws, considering relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
