Job Description
A hospital-affiliated multi-specialty practice in Orange County, NY is actively seeking a licensed OB/GYN to help build out the division.
\nAbout the Opportunity:
\n- \n
- Schedule: Monday to Friday \n
- Hours: Standard business \n
- Specialty: Obstetrics / Gynecology \n
- Patient Population: Full Spectrum- Outpatient with inpatient on-call for deliveries \n
Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams to screen for and diagnose various health issues \n
- Provide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant women, including regular check-ups, monitoring fetal development, and addressing any pregnancy-related concerns or complications \n
- Manage and assist in the childbirth process, either through vaginal delivery or cesarean section, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and the newborn \n
- Provide postpartum care to new mothers, addressing physical and emotional recovery, as well as providing guidance on newborn care and breastfeeding \n
- Diagnose and treat a variety of reproductive health issues, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and uterine fibroids \n
- Screen for and treat gynecological cancers, such as cervical, ovarian, and uterine cancers, and refer patients for further evaluation and treatment as needed \n
- Perform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, for conditions like ectopic pregnancies, ovarian cysts, and fibroids \n
- Diagnose and treat pelvic floor disorders, including incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, often using physical therapy or surgical interventions \n
- Educate patients about their reproductive health, providing information on various medical conditions, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices \n
Qualifications:

- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York \n
- Board Eligible / Certified in OB/GYN \n
