As a Renewals Funding Manager, you’ll manage a growing book of existing clients and help them access additional working capital as their businesses grow. You’ll identify and close renewals, cross-sell additional funding solutions, and supplement your pipeline with new business.

Success in this role takes persistence, strong judgment, and the ability to find a path forward. You’ll work across client relationships and our funding partner network to uncover opportunities and connect business owners with solutions that fit their needs.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Charlotte, NC office.

What You Will Do

As Renewals Funding Manager, you'll manage the full renewal cycle from start to finish. You'll:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Small Biz Heroes clients.
• Stay in consistent contact with clients to identify renewal and additional funding opportunities.
• Generate renewal business through proactive phone, email, and ongoing follow-up.
• Understand each client’s current business needs and recommend appropriate funding solutions.
• Cross-sell additional products and funding options when appropriate.
• Structure, present, negotiate, and close renewal opportunities.
• Build new business to supplement your existing book of business.
• Work closely with funding partners to identify options and move deals through the funding process.
• Consistently meet or exceed renewal and revenue goals.
• Maintain accurate client, pipeline, and follow-up activity in Salesforce.
• Stay informed on funding products, partner options, and trends within alternative business finance.

You'll Thrive Here If You…

• Have 2+ years of experience in MCA, alternative business finance, small business lending, or a closely related role.
• Know how to manage and grow a book of business—not just close a single transaction.
• Are confident discussing funding options, structuring deals, negotiating terms, and closing.
• Know how to create opportunities through consistent follow-up and relationship management.
• Can balance renewals, cross-selling, and new business without letting opportunities fall through the cracks.
• Build strong relationships with both business owners and funding partners.
• Are organized, persistent, accountable, and comfortable working toward revenue goals.
• Use CRM data and pipeline activity to manage your business and make decisions.
