Join our Team! Lavelle is hiring a 2nd Shift Janitor to help keep our manufacturing facility in Burlington, Wisconsin , clean! This position is responsible for performing janitorial work to support the cleanliness and orderliness of production equipment and work areas.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep and clean production areas and aisles as assigned
- Follow the assigned route for scrap and garbage collection throughout the plant
- Clean equipment during downtime for preventative maintenance work
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the outside dumpster area
- Assist maintenance personnel in keeping outside walkways and entrances clear of snow and ice during the winter months
- Record and submit accurate production and quality data, work records, etc., appropriate to the position
- Follow standard work, line clearance, and setup verification procedures relevant to the position
- Follow PPE and safety rules specified for the work area
- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
- Train others within the work area
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to perform the job and meet production and quality targets consistently
- Must possess or be able to obtain certification to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Standing and walking required 100% of the day
- Normal factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations
