- The Staff Accountant will be tasked with preparing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations on a high-volume basis while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Own assigned balance sheet accounts and perform detailed account analysis and reconciliations.
- Support financial reporting and assist with preparation of monthly management reporting packages.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors and assist with audit requests.
- Identify and champion process improvement and automation opportunities within the accounting function.
- Heavy data analysis and reconciliation work.
- Support cash management activities, accruals, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting.
- BS in Accounting required.
- 1-3 years of public accounting OR 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience OR a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accustomed to working with large volumes of financial data.
- Experience with ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- CPA eligibility or plans to pursue certification is a plus.
