Branch Manager

Position Summary The Branch Manager will lead with impact in a safety‑first, customer‑focused organization. The role requires a dynamic leader to drive operational excellence, provide strong leadership, uphold exceptional service standards, and support a team‑focused environment that prioritizes customer success. You will manage your own P&L, use business acumen to influence performance and growth, drive process efficiency, ensure asset optimization, and maintain full compliance with company policies. Importantly, you will work in a culture that puts safety and people first, where contributions are seen, valued, and celebrated. Responsibilities Manage operational staff day‑to‑day, including training, coaching, and mentoring to foster a collaborative team environment. Demonstrate a commitment to creating a safe workplace free of injuries through actions and leadership. Take responsibility for all aspects of the branch’s profit and loss. Focus on factors that ensure outstanding customer experience, compliance, productivity, and profitability. Contribute to and support the achievement of top‑line sales goals. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and regulatory requirements. Interview, hire, and onboard all branch staff, providing a continuous learning environment that contributes to team and branch success. Required Education, Skills & Experience 2+ years of management experience in a relevant field. P&L experience preferred. 1 or more years of building materials experience preferred. Experience with a CRM, Salesforce preferred. College degree desirable. Motivated by outcomes, proactive, structured, and high attention to detail. Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast‑paced environment and remain composed under pressure. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, talking, and listening. Location‑specific lifting requirements based on the supply center; may require lifting 70–100 lbs. Work Environment The workplace is a warehouse environment with office space. Forklifts are present; employees must wear issued personal protective equipment. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Frequent use of company communication devices such as a computer, cell phone, and printer is required.
