What You'll Do:
- Provide occupational therapy services to medically complex and rehabilitation patients, including spinal cord injuries, TBI, strokes, amputees, and post-operative orthopedics.
- Assist patients with ADLs, manage a caseload independently, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support inpatient, outpatient, and skilled nursing patients with a variety of diagnoses.
- Attend departmental and hospital orientation sessions to ensure smooth integration.
- Document patient progress using Meditech Expanse and Wellsky EMR systems.
What You Need:
- Valid Louisiana OT license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute, rehab, or outpatient settings
- Ability to assist with ADLs and work independently within a team setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
