Title
Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Schedule
3x12s, Night shift (Weekdays and some weekends)

Assignment Details
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Previous travel experience preferred

Requirements
- RRT certification
- Ohio state respiratory license (must be in hand at time of submittal)
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Mechanical ventilation management and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with ventilators (GE/Hamilton preferred)
- Tracheostomy care, airway placement, and suctioning
- ABG interpretation and oxygenation/ventilation support skills
- Aerosol/nebulizer therapies and pulmonary hygiene
- Emergency airway management and basic critical care interventions
- Charting experience with Epic

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation, including weaning and responding to high-pressure alarms.
- Provide tracheostomy care and perform airway placement and suctioning as needed.
- Conduct ABG interpretation and provide oxygenation/ventilation support, including HFNC and BiPAP/CPAP.
- Administer aerosol/nebulizer therapies and ensure pulmonary hygiene for patients.
- Assist in emergency airway management and implement basic critical care interventions.

Compliance / Notes
- Ohio fingerprinting process is urgent; strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions).
- Candidates must complete fingerprints immediately after contract signing; delays could cause push/cancel.
- 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor.
- Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only).
- Required license must be in hand at the time of submittal.
