Full Time Central Islip, NY, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1062 Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually General Purpose of the Job The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to support organizational staffing needs across all departments. This role partners with leadership to attract, source, and hire qualified candidates in alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and FQHC standards. The Recruiter ensures a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies. Responsibilities Manage full cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, screening, and interviewing of all candidates across clinical and non-clinical roles Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure timely hiring to meet operational demands Develop and maintain candidate pipelines through various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, networking, community outreach, and partnerships Post and maintain job openings in applicant tracking systems and external platforms; ensure accuracy and consistency of job descriptions Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers; participate in interviews as needed Extend employment offers, coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, reference checks, credentialing support as applicable), and ensure completion of onboarding documentation Ensure compliance with all federal, New York State, and local employment laws including EEO, ADA, and Department of Labor requirements Partner with Human Resources Manager to support workforce planning and recruitment forecasting Support onboarding processes including scheduling orientation, preparing new hire documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization Assist in developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) recruitment strategies to support a diverse workforce reflective of the communities served Maintain confidentiality of candidate and employee information at all times Perform other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities None. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related preferred. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Recruitment. Recruitment experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. Necessary Skills & Abilities Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word), as well as Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record software – eClinicalWorks a plus. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Clean valid NYS Driver's license. Other Skills and Abilities Interpersonal skills, organization & planning, problem solving, conflict resolution ability, assertiveness, strong teamwork & networking skills, ability to carry out job duties independently in the community. Attendance at all mandated agency management training activities. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
