Electrophysiology Technician - 4x10 Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30), with some Saturdays required as part of the regular shifts. There is on-call duty from 6-8 PM if cases run late.

The Electrophysiology Technician will work in a state-of-the-art cardiac cath lab, providing support in a variety of electrophysiology and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, as well as proficiency in specific devices and procedures pertinent to electrophysiology. The technician will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac cath, interventional cardiac cath, and electrophysiology lab procedures.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and assist with patient care during procedures.
• Ensure the sterility of the environment and proper equipment setup.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct equipment checks and maintain communication devices as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and educational opportunities to enhance skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or cardiac catheterization.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong skills in baseline measurements, hemodynamic monitoring, and use of various cardiac devices.
• Proficient in rhythm interpretation and handling various interventional devices.
