Forensic Structural Engineer (P.E.)

Are you a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) looking for a career where your expertise makes a real impact? We're hiring a Forensic Structural Engineer to investigate building damage, write reports, and provide expert insights. If you enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and helping clients understand structural issues, this is for you!

What You'll Do:

Inspect buildings for damage—roofs, foundations, water issues, and more.
Write clear, detailed reports explaining your findings.
Communicate with clients and team members in a friendly, professional way.
Provide expert testimony in court when needed (with legal team support).
Continue learning—ongoing training covered by the company!
Travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays.

What You Need:

Licensed P.E. in your state.
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).
2–3 years of experience in forensic failure/damage analysis or similar.
Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word.
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
A valid driver's license with a clean record.
Ability to work independently from a home office with reliable internet.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A service-oriented mindset—customer-focused and team-friendly.
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam.
