Location: We are recruiting for senior level positions in our Utica office. Responsibilities Review and/or prepare individual and business tax returns. Review and/or prepare financial statement compilations. Bookkeeping for our small business clients. Accounting CS and QuickBooks expertise is a plus. Work with clients to build relationships and provide strategies for accounting, tax planning, and consulting solutions. Identify and research tax and accounting issues and communicate and document the results orally and/or written in a clear and concise manner. Display an understanding of professional standards, GAAP, tax laws/rules. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting along with CPA preferred. 3+ years of experience in public accounting is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, be organized, prioritize and follow Firm policies/procedures. Ability to work directly and communicate with clients and have a commitment to exceptional client service. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a quick learner and want to contribute to the growth of the Firm. Working knowledge of CCH Access Tax, ProSystem fx Engagement, QuickBooks, and Microsoft 365 is a plus. Valid driver’s license required for possible travel at clients’ offices using a personal vehicle. Must have the ability to work additional hours during busy season as applicable and needed. Salary $60,000 to $80,000 based on education/CPA eligibility, CPA certification, and years of experience.
