Facility Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building systems and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient, and well‑maintained facility. This role requires a good mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across multiple trades. Salary: $40,000 - $41,000 per year Shift: First Work hours: 6 AM – 3 PM Education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility‑related systems. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs. Maintain and repair pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, and related equipment. Install, replace, and adjust facility components as needed. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Coordinate with contractors and vendors when necessary. Support facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
