HVAC / Refrigeration Technician - In-House Restaurant Maintenance

Job Description

Restaurant group operating multiple quick-service restaurant locations throughout Long Island and are seeking an experienced HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our team full-time.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated technician who wants consistent work, a company vehicle, and the stability of working directly for an established organization rather than traveling between unrelated service calls.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
Service and maintain walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in coolers, ice machines, and refrigeration equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple restaurant locations.
Respond to emergency service calls and equipment breakdowns.
Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair needs.
Coordinate with operations and management teams to minimize downtime.
Assist with minor electrical, mechanical, and equipment repairs when needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
EPA Certification required.
Experience with restaurant equipment and quick-service restaurant operations preferred.
Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical control systems.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
