Human Resources Information System Analyst

Job Description
A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Systems & Data Analyst to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise business applications, with a primary focus on Workday HRIS. This position will work closely with Human Resources, Finance, IT, and leadership teams to improve system functionality, streamline processes, and develop data-driven reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience with HRIS platforms, data integrations, business intelligence tools, and legal financial systems.
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Support Workday HRIS implementation, including data migration, validation, testing, reporting, and ongoing optimization. \n
- Gather and analyze business requirements to develop scalable reports, dashboards, and system solutions. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve Workday functionality, data quality, workflows, and operational efficiency. \n
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and data processing solutions. \n
- Troubleshoot system performance issues and maintain data integrity across enterprise applications. \n
- Support additional business systems, including Aderant Sierra, DealCloud, and other internal applications. \n
- Develop reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, Power BI, and related tools. \n
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards. \n
- Maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and system procedures. \n
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on system enhancements and projects. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field. \n
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in HRIS, business systems analysis, data analytics, or a related discipline. \n
- Hands-on Workday experience required, including HRIS integrations, reporting, or system implementations. \n
- Experience with API authentication, encryption, digital certificates (X.509/PGP), SFTP, and secure data exchange. \n
- Experience with legal financial systems such as Aderant or Elite 3E. \n
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools. \n
- Knowledge of data pipelines, automation, orchestration, and enterprise system integrations. \n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced professional environment. \n
