Wellness Associate

Salary Range: $16-$18 Wellness Associate Job Description Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Store Director Location: Highlands Ranch, Colorado - 100% In-Person Summary/Objective The Wellness Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional retail experience through customer service, retail sales support, cashiering, and store maintenance. This role supports daily store operations by assisting customers, maintaining a clean and organized retail environment, and promoting wellness products and services. The Wellness Associate plays a key role in ensuring a positive in-store experience and supporting overall sales performance. Provide exceptional customer service and product guidance Support retail sales efforts and promote store wellness offerings Operate cash register and process transactions accurately Maintain store cleanliness and organization Restock merchandise and monitor inventory levels Assist customers with product selection and inquiries Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times Support opening and closing store procedures Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned Perform other duties as assigned Competencies Strong customer service orientation Positive attitude Ability to work effectively in a team environment Basic cash handling and transaction accuracy Dependability and punctuality Communication skillsAbility to multitask in a retail setting Must love animals and feel comfortable in a pet-focused retail environment Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibility. Work Environment This role operates in a retail store environment. The employee will work in a customer-facing setting with regular interaction with customers, retail merchandise, point-of-sale systems, and cleaning supplies. The environment may be fast-paced and require frequent movement throughout the store. Physical Demands This position requires many types of movement and the handling of merchandise and store materials. The employee must be able to stand for extended periods, walk frequently, bend, reach, and lift items as needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position is Part-Time. Scheduling may vary based on business needs. Weekend availability is required. Travel This position does not require travel.
