Job Summary

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Temp for a contract opportunity in San Juan, PR, supporting recruiting needs within the telecommunications services industry. This role is a strong fit for a bilingual recruiting professional who enjoys full-cycle recruitment, proactive sourcing, candidate engagement, and close partnership with hiring managers.

In this Talent Acquisition Specialist - Temp role, you will help connect qualified candidates with local and regional opportunities while supporting a collaborative HR environment focused on communication, fair hiring practices, and continuous improvement. You will be one of the first points of contact for future employees, helping create a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through pre-employment coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned local and regional positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection support, offers, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers, HR business partners, compensation teams, and onboarding teams to understand hiring needs and support an efficient recruiting process.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies, talent pipelines, and candidate engagement plans for active and passive candidates.
- Coordinate applicant flow, candidate communication, interview scheduling, references, drug test referrals, background checks, and other pre-employment steps.
- Support recruiting projects, job fairs, college recruiting, community outreach, and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Contribute ideas to improve talent acquisition processes, candidate experience, and local or regional hiring strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $21 to $22 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Assignment length: Temporary 3 months.
- Location: San Juan, PR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned local and regional positions.
- Develop sourcing strategies, build candidate pipelines, and support candidate engagement efforts.
- Coordinate interviews, applicant flow, pre-employment requirements, and hiring manager communication.
- Support recruiting projects, outreach initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of recruiting experience, including end-to-end recruitment process management.
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Strong interviewing, screening, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates, HR partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of unbiased recruiting practices, employment policies, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional communication skills, attention to detail, and a candidate-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3 or more years of recruiting experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
- Prior recruiting experience in telecommunications, high-volume hiring, corporate recruiting, or staffing environments.
- Experience coordinating job fairs, college recruiting events, community outreach, or talent pipeline initiatives.
