Territory Manager (Interventional Urology - Women's Health) Location: Orange County, CA, US Job Family: Sales | Country/Region: United States Responsibilities Business Acumen: Effectively engage all targeted accounts and develop a strategic plan to achieve territory sales objectives. Analyze sales and marketing data: Identify opportunities to maximize territory and company objectives. Understand customer environment: Know key decision makers and challenges to support Coloplast. Advance the sales process: Meet or exceed targets for each product line. Conduct cost/benefit analysis: Understand financial business models. Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and Coloplast ethics policies. Selling Skills Demonstrate consultative selling, uncovering customer strategy and presenting a value proposition. Plan daily call routine and account penetration to ensure coverage of key accounts. Use available tools (marketing directives, sales reports, educational materials, national contracts) to maximize sales growth. Track competitive activity and sales volume in each targeted account. Relationship Building Take a strategic approach to influence others and develop relationships across product categories. Retain and grow business within the current customer base by identifying opportunities. Develop long‑term relationships that increase product usage. Build productive cross‑functional relationships within the organization. Clinical Knowledge and Self-Development Demonstrate proficiency in clinical and technical product knowledge. Leverage clinical knowledge to educate peers on product categories. Understand competitive activity, products, market trends, and industry information. Attend and participate in industry training, meetings, and events for business development. Healthcare Facility/Operating Room Interactions Interact frequently with health care professionals (surgeons, nurses, physicians, etc.). Present during procedures and surgeries to address product-related questions, while following operating room protocols. Conform to all facility and operating room compliance standards. Administrative Organize and manage information using CRM and other tools. Maintain current records and complete sales reporting, forecasting, inventory, and expense management. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years med tech sales experience, or 2-year associate’s degree with 5+ years, or 7+ years overall med tech sales experience. Minimum 5 years successful medical sales experience selling to physicians. Urology background and implantable device sales preferred. Proficient relationship and consultative selling skills. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Negotiation, analytical, oral and written communication skills. High attention to detail and follow-through. Excellent listening skills. Ability to work independently, show initiative, and be results-oriented. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel overnight (30-50%).
