About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Development to lead and drive fundraising success in the Orange County, Inland Empire, and Coachella Valley Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving divisional revenue goals, leading a high-performing development team, and ensuring that all fundraising efforts are in line with the organization's mission and strategic priorities. This role requires a strategic mindset, the ability to influence and inspire others, and a proven track record in staff management, as well as in building and sustaining relationships with donors and corporate sponsors. The Vice President, Development will also be accountable for the long-term growth of the division, including the recruitment and development of exceptional staff and volunteer leaders. Applicants for the Vice President, Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with at least 3 years' of experience in a comparable nonprofit or sales-driven organization. The role demands a leader with a consistent track record of meeting aggressive revenue and performance goals, the ability to work in a highly matrixed environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms. Preferred qualifications include prior experience with a national voluntary health organization and a strong knowledge of the organization's mission and community impact. The position is field-based and requires daily local travel, with a vision to significantly grow the market's revenue.
