NPORT Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care in home settings throughout Orange County, NY. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the successful candidate will support patients in improving functional abilities, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans as outlined by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist patients with therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and daily living skills Document patient progress and report significant changes to supervisory staff Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and team meetings Ensure compliance with all regulatory and agency standards Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapeutic activities and home programs Qualifications Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA ) license in the state Experience in a CHHA or similar post-acute/rehab setting preferred Strong clinical documentation skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care Schedule & Benefits Flexible scheduling options available: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem.
