Staff Accountant

Overview Staff Accountant – Corporate Reports to: Senior Manager, Accounting Company Size: Mid-sized, Commercial Sector Role Overview: This Staff Accountant will support the monthly and quarterly close process, manage general ledger entries, and perform balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities. The role is highly cross-functional, partnering with finance, operations, and external stakeholders. Ideal for someone eager to grow, optimize processes, and contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly/quarterly close and balance sheet reconciliations Record journal entries for revenue, AP, prepaid expenses, and debt Generate ad-hoc reports for finance and operations teams Liaise with auditors, lenders, and vendors Support cash forecasting and liquidity analysis Technical Skills Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or similar GL systems (preferred) Strong Excel skills; familiarity with PowerPoint and Word Public Accounting experience is a plus Education & Credentials Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field CPA license or active candidate preferred 1–2 years of experience in external audit or GL accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
