Staff Accountant
$35 - $45 per hourAddison Group
Location: Arlington - fully on site during training, then hybrid potential Assignment Type: 12-16 week contract Compensation: $35-45/hr Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Qualifications: Industry experience working within a Financial Services / Banking / Credit Union space Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance preferred 3-5 years' experience in accounting or finance Proficient in Microsoft Excel Responsibilities: Generate and circulate daily reports covering cash balances and balance sheet activity Oversee activity within VIZO accounts and ensure proper account management Execute daily wire transactions to maintain required balances in the VIZO Settlement Account Handle the processing and reconciliation of MoneyGram activity Perform reconciliations for general ledger accounts, including: 731900 – Cash in Transit (Deposits) Provide support for the purchase of investment securities when required Contribute to month‑end close activities, reporting, and financial analysis Prepare departmental financial reports and analyze budget‑to‑actual variances Record and process month‑end journal entries related to participation loans Track ALCO policy compliance and prepare related monitoring reports Assist with budgeting processes, forecasting efforts, and financial modeling initiatives Work cross‑functionally with internal teams to support accurate and timely financial reporting Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
