- Patients Per Day:
- Credentialing: Approximately 30 days (Temporary privileges available)
- Monday: Endoscopy Suite
- Tuesday: Outpatient Clinic
- Wednesday: Endoscopy Suite
- Thursday: Half Clinic / Half Endoscopy
- Friday: Endoscopy Suite
- Night Call: Every night during the assignment (1:1 call rotation)
- Hospital rounding on GI consults as needed
- Outpatient GI consultations
- Inpatient GI consults and rounding
- Upper endoscopy (EGD)
- Colonoscopy
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- ERCP (Diagnostic & Therapeutic)
- PEG placement
- Esophageal dilation/manometry
- Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- GI procedures including biopsies, polypectomies, and management of GI bleeding
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Virginia Medical License required
- Hospital privileges required
- Comfortable with inpatient, outpatient, endoscopy, and call coverage
- 2 RNs
- 1 Medical Assistant
- 1 NP/PA
- 1 Office Staff
- Travel and malpractice coverage provided.
- Nearest airport: Tri-Cities Airport (Blountville, TN)
- Lodging assistance available.
