Staff Accountant

An established and growing company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its Finance team. This role reports to senior finance leadership and offers exposure to a broad range of accounting and operational finance functions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Paid Time Off: Holidays, Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, Personal Days Compensation: $65k - $75k DOE, Full benefits package Location: Hybrid – Cleveland, OH Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day cash application and collections activities Maintain customer and vendor records, reporting, and documentation Prepare general ledger journal entries Support recurring payment and reconciliation processes Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts Assist with external audit support Identify and recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition in accordance with GAAP/IFRS Perform ongoing reporting, analysis, and ad hoc projects as needed Pre-requisites Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience CPA or CMA designation preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Experience with accounting software such as Great Plains, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr
