** Hybrid- 3x a week onsite- Warren, MI. DRE- Electric modules and Software validation. **

Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain Interface Control Design (ICD) strategy and ICD templates
• Develop & Maintain commodity specific documentation.
• Generate and Maintain Global subsystem/component technical specifications templates. (SSTS/CTS)
• Lead resolution of technical issues
• "Close the Loop" on learnings by updating required information (Best Practices, GM Specifications, Statement of Requirements, Template, etc.) and document progress in Problem Resolution Tracking System.
• Work cross-functionally within GM, coordinating multiple suppliers.
• Lead/manage supplier resident engineers
• Support sourcing activities
• Generate technical solutions for current, new and major programs
• Perform complex design analysis
• Initiate documents to provide engineering authority and to maintain math/CAD data
• Work with engineering functions, suppliers, plant personnel and others to implement cost reduction, methods and product improvements, and to support build programs
• Validation of your module

Required Qualifications:
** • BS in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science **
** • 2+ years of related experience **
** • Knowledge of microcontroller architectures, memory technologies, and programming. **
** • Understanding of hardware design and failure modes in electronic modules. **
** • Knowledge of vehicle serial data communications. **
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing and comprehending software/hardware requirements.
• Knowledge of software verification/validation processes.
• Knowledge of testing and associated tools.
• Capability to translate text based functional requirements into software algorithms and models.
