Job Description and Duties
THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE. This position is considered “hybrid” with on-site work four days a week at 1416 9th Street and telework one day a week, on average, dependent on operational needs. Currently, the required in-office day is Tuesday. Do you excel at bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions? As an IT liaison, you'll help staff navigate their technical challenges and find creative ways to improve business processes using SharePoint and other collaboration tools. The EDD Workforce Services Branch (WSB) is seeking dynamic candidates to apply for an Analyst I/Analyst II position in the Business Systems Analysis Unit within the Central Office Workforce Services Division. In this role, you will serve as a vital liaison between the Workforce Services Branch (WSB) and the Information Technology Branch (ITB), ensuring effective communication and support for WSB's technology needs. As an IT Liaison and SharePoint Administrator, you will:- Manage and maintain SharePoint sites to streamline collaboration and enhance productivity for WSB staff.
- Analyze and review service requests for accuracy and compliance, and use this information to manage the branch's asset inventory, creating a clear and real-time picture of asset allocation across the branch.
- Play a key role in implementing technology solutions that meet business needs.
This position is headquartered at the New Labor Agency Building (NLAB), a newly remodeled high-rise building.
