Litigation Paralegal

Bremer Whyte Brown & OMeara LLP is seeking a talented Paralegal to join our award-winning team in our Arizona office. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm recognized for our sixth consecutive year in the U.S. News Best Lawyers Best Law Firms rankings. As a Paralegal you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success. This position will also include some secretarial and/or administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments motions and other case filings
• Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests
• Review analyze summarize and organize case files documents and discovery
• Utilize existing files and research resources to develop information for pending cases
• Assist in preparing and organizing subpoenas or other formal requests for documents
• Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and report on pertinent changes
• Maintain attorney calendars including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
• Communicate with clients regarding case matters and updates
• Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
• Assist with secretarial and administrative duties as needed

• Paralegal certification required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook Adobe and court e-filing systems
• Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated reliable team player with a professional demeanor
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
