Sr. Change Management (OCM)

Organizational Change Management promotes successful change outcomes by preparing and equipping the organization to adopt change. Change Management provides processes, tools, and techniques to successfully transition individuals, groups, and organizations from current state to future state. This role creates and implements change management strategies and plans that increase employee adoption, minimize resistance, and improve the likelihood of successful, sustainable outcomes.

We're looking for a proven change management leader to help drive successful enterprise AI enablement. This individual will collaborate across multiple levels and functions of the organization to lead the people side of AI-related initiatives and will connect into an experienced team of change management professionals.

• Come alongside our AI Center of Excellence (COE) to partner and deliver results, providing change management expertise and thought leadership to respectfully influence direction while reinforcing established standards for AI use at Cardinal Health.

• Collaborate with representatives from our OCM COE to build a consistent framework to drive sustained AI adoption in alignment with proven OCM methodology and enterprise standards.

• Plan and deliver robust change support for prioritized AI initiatives, preparing and guiding multiple stakeholder groups to understand, adopt and successfully use the new solutions.

• Develop and execute OCM strategies and detailed plans to support initial rollout, scaling and ongoing enhancement of AI solutions, tailoring the approach as needed for the affected groups.

• Foster both adoption of AI tools and evolving capabilities, as well as broader AI enterprise literacy, in accordance with Cardinal Health standards for responsible use reflecting our critical role in healthcare and responsibility to customers and patients.

• Collaborate across multiple functions (e.g., Project Management, Learning, executive sponsors, internal subject matter experts and external implementation partners) to foster alignment and achieve needed outcomes.

• Contribute to preparation and delivery of needed updates and messaging to project sponsors and other senior leaders, engaging their support for the people side of AI initiatives.

• Own the creation and implementation of change deliverables, contributing to project objectives by ensuring affected groups are informed, equipped and engaged with AI capabilities available to them.

• Contribute to measuring project outcomes, including metrics such as user readiness and adoption; tailor and refine change plans in concert with project teams to reflect new discoveries and enable the best outcomes.

• Deliver documented lessons learned and final recommendations as part of completing the engagement, transitioning seamlessly to internal resources who will carry the work forward.

Respected change management professional, thought leader and trusted advisor to leadership who can engage directly on projects to develop and execute strategic change approaches that yield measurable improvement in project outcomes. Proven experience applying OCM methodology and techniques to contribute to complex project objectives on a large and global scale. Ability to work independently and to proactively and correctly apply new insights. Highly collaborative, working smoothly with technical and business resources at multiple levels of the organization. Comfortable pivoting or adapting quickly as AI platforms, processes and priorities rapidly evolve. Outstanding oral and written communications skills and fluency in U.S. English; ability to converse with a variety of stakeholders and produce effective employee-facing content. Prosci® Change Management certification preferred. Experience in healthcare a plus. Experience with AI tools and driving AI adoption a plus. Travel is generally not required; however, the ideal candidate is close enough to central Ohio to participate in occasional on-site sessions with the clients.

BS/BA in Business, Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, Training, or equivalent. Eight plus years of experience in change management, communications, project management, or other related area; change management experience with large complex projects preferred. Change management certification, such as Prosci® preferred.
