Florida DoD SkillBridge Lineman Training Program (Active Duty Military Only)

Job OpportunityThis role is ideal for transitioning service members who are eligible for 90-120 days of SkillBridge and who have experience in:Construction, engineering, utilities, or maintenanceHeavy equipment or vehicle operationWorking outdoors in physically demanding environmentsSafety-critical or high-risk operationsTeam-based field workIf you've worked in austere conditions, followed detailed procedures, and relied on your team to get the job done—you already have the foundation.In training and as an entry-level employee, you will:Install, maintain, and repair transmission, substation, or overhead/underground distribution power infrastructure in an on-the-job training environmentWork and train as part of a crew supporting critical infrastructure for our utility partnersFollow strict safety standards and operational proceduresIn a training or entry-level role, you will not work directly with energized powerlinesTravel and respond to storm or emergency restoration work when requiredMilitary experience we value (not required):Engineers (Army 12-Series, USMC 13xx)Seabees (BU, EO, CE, UT)Aviation or vehicle maintenanceMotor transport / CDL-eligible rolesInfantry or operations roles with field exposureWhy choose Pike?Structured apprenticeship approved by the Departments of Labor and Veteran Affairs after your SkillBridgeVeteran-experienced leadership and crewsConsistent work, strong overtime potentialLong-term career path (Groundman?
