Project AccountantCompensation: $70,000-$85,000 Location: Chestnut Hill, MA Schedule: Hybrid opportunity available after initial onsite training.CFS has partnered with a growing construction management firm in seeking a Project Accountant to join their finance team. This role will partner with Project Managers and Accounting to support project financial reporting, billing, job costing, subcontractor compliance, and project forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage owner billings and project budgetsReview contracts for billing requirements, retainage, and complianceProcess invoices, job cost allocations, and subcontractor documentationMaintain project forecasts and assist with monthly financial reportingSupport audits, project closeouts, and financial record managementQualifications:2+ years of project accounting experience; construction industry experience preferredKnowledge of job cost accounting, AIA billing, retainage, and lien waiversStrong Excel skills and attention to detailExperience with ERP/construction accounting software (Sage, Procore, etc.) preferredExcellent organizational and communication skills#INOCT2026
