LPN/RN Charge Nurse (3p-11p)

Burke Health & Rehabilitation Center in Burke, Virginia Responsibilities The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. The role also includes assisting in the development and implementation of patient care plans, identifying patient goals and approaches, resolving patient and family concerns, and summarizing these concerns for the Clinical Unit Manager. Qualifications Current license issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a team philosophy. Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents.
