At AnaVation, we provide unmatched value to our customers and employees through innovative solutions and an engaging culture.Description of Task to be Performed:AnaVation is seeking a Sr Systems Administrator to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA.As a Sr Systems Administrator you will:Plan, design, and implement infrastructure changes and system upgrades.Manage and troubleshoot multiple VMware environments.Provide Windows Server and Linux administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Create STIG compliant images for Windows Desktop, Windows Server, and Linux OS.Create, test, and deploy software packages using software deployment products such as SCCM, PDQ, etc.Provide expert level support and mentoring for Mid and Junior System Administrator personnel.Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures for system and software changes.Utilize scripting to automate common tasks.Perform hardware maintenance/repair activities.Ensure proper planning and execution of major projects/maintenance activities.Provide advanced level administration and troubleshooting of Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controllers.Required Qualifications:Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with PolygraphEducation & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional areaCertifications: Current active CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent IAT Level IIRequired Experience and knowledge on:Ability to write scripts using PowerShell and/or Bash.Experience managing VMware, Nutanix, and other types of enterprise level Virtual Infrastructures.Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory and Group Policy Object (GPO).Preferred Qualifications:Linux OS (CentOS, RHEL) administration.Satellite server administration.Ansible playbook writing.Implementing STIGs.Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.BenefitsGenerous cost sharing for medical insurance for the employee and dependents100% company paid dental insurance for employees and dependents100% company paid long-term and short-term disability insurance100% company paid vision insurance for employees and dependents401k plan with generous match and 100% immediate vestingCompetitive PayGenerous paid leave and holiday packageTuition and training reimbursementLife and AD&D InsuranceAbout AnaVationAnaVation is the leader in solving the most complex technical challenges for collection and processing in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community.
