Physical Therapist Pediatrics

Job Summary:

The Outpatient Physical Therapist (Pediatrics) provides specialized rehabilitation services to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting. This role involves managing an existing caseload, delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. The therapist will work full-time, Monday through Friday, ensuring continuity of care within a structured and supportive environment. Responsibilities:

• Provide pediatric physical therapy evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
• Manage and maintain a caseload of approximately 50 pediatric patients.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and communication.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Current Ohio Physical Therapist license and registry (not in process).
• Minimum of two years of pediatric rehabilitation experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills for pediatric patients.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience managing a large outpatient pediatric caseload.
• Effective interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Special Considerations:

• Position requires full-time availability Monday through Friday; no weekend or holiday work.
• Multiple requests for remote time off (RTO) may impact candidate priority.
• Work is conducted in an outpatient pediatrics rehabilitation center.

Scheduling:

• 40 hours per week, five 8-hour days (Monday through Friday).
• Four 10-hour days schedule is not available.
• The facility is closed on weekends and all major holidays.
