Robotic Weld Operator (Level I)

Overview Location: Terrell, TX 75160 Pay Rate: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Position Description: We are seeking a Robotic Weld Operator (Level I) to support production operations. This role is responsible for setting up, loading, and operating robotic welding systems for single-pass GMAW welded assemblies. Training will be provided for the assigned products. Responsibilities Set up, load, and operate robotic welding systems for single-pass GMAW assemblies Perform daily machine maintenance, including coolant checks, calibration, and cleaning Change machine consumables such as welding wire, nozzles, and tips Inspect welded assemblies for weld size, defects, and overall appearance Use measuring tools including tape measures (to 1/32"), squares, protractors, straight edges, and GO/NO-GO gauges Tack assemblies or sub-assemblies as required Perform minor manual welding and repair weld defects when robots cannot access areas Make minor program adjustments using the machine pendant to maintain weld quality Use electric and air-powered grinders and hand tools for weld cleanup Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete end-of-shift cleanup Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management Follow all company safety policies and procedures Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, weld symbols, dimensions, tolerances, and notes Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues Experience using electric and air-powered grinders and hand tools Ability to perform minor robotic program adjustments Strong attention to quality, safety, and organization Company Hiring Requirements E-Verify Drug Test Health Vision 401K #J-18808-Ljbffr XL Pro Staffing and Consulting Group
