Assistant Controller

They are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join our finance team! Qualifications 3+ years of experience a higher-level accounting Construction industry experience Job costing Experience using Vista ERP system or similar Description Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Support the Controller in preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support management decision-making. Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts and monitor cash flow. Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate project cost accounting and reporting. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. Manage the preparation of audit work papers and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits. Provide support in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems. Mentor and train accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform financial analysis and reporting as requested by upper management. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
