Ark Business is an online community for business leaders that provides access to curated local events, online education, networking and support from our Community Managers. We curate premium, high-impact experiences for our members- conferences, networking sessions, masterminds, banquets, luxury weekend retreats. Our vision is to scale Ark into a premier global organization hosting landmark events across charity, science, culture, and business sectors. The Role As the Event Manager, you will be responsible for organising regular events for our members (paid subscribers) as well as stand-alone events open to everyone. You will work closely with the Founder to decide on location, schedule, pricing, guest speakers/ entertainers, catering and featured activities. You will attend and lead events in person. Early on, you will also assist in the role of a Community Manager, engaging with community members offline and online to provide them with a high quality service so they continue attending our events. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Premium Event Planning: End-to-end planning and execution of club events, including masterminds, high-level networking mixers, conferences, and exclusive social gatherings. Pricing & Distribution : Assisting the Founder in deciding the budget, pricing and distribution strategy for various types of Ark Events. In-Person Hosting : Opening events, orchestrating club activities, engaging with attendees personally. Super-Connecting & Matchmaking: Actively engage with members during and after the event to bridge connections-matching members with ideal business partners, colleagues, or social circles. Who You Are (Requirements) Experienced Host: You have a proven track record of organizing impactful group experiences, corporate functions, business trainings, or upscale social events. Natural Leader & Confidant: You are inherently the "life of the party" and a natural diplomat. You genuinely enjoy helping others solve business or personal bottlenecks and feel completely at ease public speaking. Organized Strategist: Highly disciplined, detail-oriented, and structured. You are comfortable building spreadsheets, tracking data, maintaining protocols, and meticulously managing event budgets. Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Qualifications) A robust, high-trust warm network of successful professionals, VPs/C-suite executives, founders, government officials, or cultural icons to invite and onboard into the community. A strong background in high-ticket B2B/B2C sales or business development. Experience working as a business coach, executive mentor, corporate trainer, or psychologist. Background managing elite digital communities, premium cohort-based courses, or masterminds.
