Sr. Accountant (ERP Migration)

Duration : 24+ Months Contract (possibility of extension) Shift : 9am – 5pm (M-F) Pay Rate : $65.00/hr. on W2. Job Description Also, an experience in Audit or Project Management (ideally ERP migration) and proficient with ERP/tools would be a plus. Position Summary Sr. Accountants must have a solid understanding of accounting systems and processes and should be considered highly knowledgeable in assigned areas. The role of the Sr. Accountant is to provide department level support for general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, inventory, and other accounting functions and ensure department goals and objectives are achieved in alignment with company policies and procedures. This role will support the continued operation of the company’s manufacturing of the best available dietary supplements in the industry. Main Responsibilities Complete accounting work per US GAAP guidelines. Accounting Manage and maintain accurate financial records. Support the monthly financial close process including preparation and review of journal entries, expense accruals, account analysis, intercompany accounting. Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Manage intercompany settlement process with other company entities. Prepare various monthly financial close reports. Inventory: Book to physical, costing/revaluation, reserves. Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset database and preparation of journal entries for additions, disposals, and monthly depreciation. Manage annual fixed asset inventory. Provide accounting guidance to Staff Accountants. Assist with internal and external audits as needed. Perform essential job duties of other accounting team members, if needed, in their absence. Other Submit daily cash funding requests &/or cash transfers to the parent company. Generate reporting and analysis as required by management. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills Effective communication skills, verbal and written, to communicate with internal and external customers. Proficiency in Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite programs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. The ability to adjust to changing work demands and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take initiative to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines and to work in a team environment. Dedication to learning and cultivating new skill sets. Results driven, strong work ethic. Education & Experience Requirements A bachelor’s degree in business; accounting major preferred. Advanced degree and/or certification would be a plus. Five years accounting experience in multiple areas of accounting preferred – general ledger, fixed assets, inventory cost accounting, accounts receivable, Experience with an ERP accounting system.
