Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Cook I for the Tulsa Club Hotel in Tulsa, OK 74103 .
We're looking for a passionate and dependable Cook I to help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen, take pride in quality and consistency, and thrive as part of a team, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing- Prepare menu items according to recipes, guest requests, and brand standards
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet expectations
- Maintain proper food storage, rotation, and portion control
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Receive, inspect, and store food deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Assist with inventories, banquet preparation, and buffet displays
- Work closely with kitchen leadership and other hotel departments
- Address guest concerns professionally and support service recovery efforts
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt standards preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and sanitation practices
- Ability to read recipes and follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for food, hospitality, and guest service
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn

- Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot kitchen and cold storage environments
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Ability to push and pull equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment and perform repetitive motions
