Be the expert on the road for complex industrial cooling

Join a growing mechanical services contractor as the go-to field professional for industrial refrigeration. You will support customers across food and beverage, cold storage, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and process operations while working hands-on with ammonia (NH3) and commercial refrigeration systems.

A day in this role

You start by reviewing your scheduled site visits and any urgent service calls that came in overnight. At one facility, you execute planned maintenance and verify safe operation. At the next, you troubleshoot a control issue, verify a repair, document your findings, and brief the customer. Throughout the day, you prioritize safety, clear communication, and quality workmanship while coordinating with dispatch and customers.

What you will do

• Perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot faults, repair components, and respond to emergency service needs for industrial refrigeration systems
• Service and support ammonia refrigeration equipment; company-provided training available for qualified candidates
• Diagnose issues on refrigeration, ventilation, heating, and control systems and restore performance
• Complete service documentation, work orders, and detailed customer reports accurately and on time
• Own your daily schedule while keeping customers informed and satisfied
• Work to the highest safety standards and in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
• Independently deliver reliable, high-quality service to industrial clients

What you bring

• Hands-on experience servicing industrial or commercial refrigeration systems
• Ammonia refrigeration background preferred; willing to train motivated techs with strong fundamentals
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, ventilation, heating systems, and controls
• Freon refrigeration experience is a plus
• Refrigeration or HVAC apprenticeship completion (or equivalent experience) preferred
• Safety mindset; OSHA 30, fall protection, arc flash, or similar training is a plus
• Clean driving record
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Enthusiasm for ongoing technical training and professional development
