MSL / Senior MSL I, Gynecologic Oncology (Northeast - CT, MA, NH, RI, VT, ME)

AbbVie seeks a field-based Medical Science Liaison or Senior MSL to serve as a scientific expert supporting gynecologic oncology initiatives across the Northeast. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, presenting clinical evidence, supporting research activities, and ensuring healthcare providers receive accurate medical information on AbbVie's oncology portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders, academic centers, and researchers in gynecologic oncology
• Present scientific education on disease state, therapeutic landscape, and AbbVie products to physicians and healthcare professionals
• Support R&D and clinical research initiatives including site identification, investigator meetings, and external expert engagement
• Serve as medical/scientific resource to healthcare providers; answer unsolicited medical questions and clinical inquiries
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and commercial partners to develop account plans and training programs

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, or APP) in relevant scientific discipline
• Senior MSL I: minimum 2 years oncology experience; typically 3+ years direct MSL experience
• MSL: 0–2 years relevant disease or therapeutic area experience
• Ability to reside in assigned territory within 3 months; willing to travel up to 75%
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and teaching skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively
• HCIR credentialing eligibility (background check, drug screen, immunization verification)
