Illume Fertility (formerly RMA of CT) specializes in the treatment of infertility, including assisted reproductive technologies (ART) like intrauterine insemination (IUI), in-vitro fertilization (IVF), and pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT). Position Overview :
This is a learning position to develop professional skills and gain experience in a clinical andrology/endocrine laboratory with the goal of achieving proficiency in the performance of andrology/endocrine laboratory services in accordance with Illume Fertility’s Protocol Manuals. This position also includes laboratory administrative responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Participate in laboratory operations and laboratory services as directed by supervisor to develop proficiency in all required areas.
- Perform semen analysis to include sperm count, sperm motility, sperm morphology, viability, and anti-sperm antibody testing.
- Perform routine sperm preps for inseminations and cryopreservation.
- Assist the physician in exam rooms with inseminations.
- Maintain accurate, current cryopreservation records.
- Other duties as needed.
Education & Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or Medical Technology.
- Adequate computer skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in ARTworks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, outlook and PowerPoint is necessary.
