Manager of Application Development

Leading a team of developers and technical professionals, the full-time Manager of Application Development will oversee the software development lifecycle for health insurance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements while working remotely or onsite. Key responsibilities Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for health insurance systems, including enrollment, claims, and customer portals Lead application modernization efforts, including cloud migration and refactoring systems into microservices Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred At least 10 years of experience in Information Technology, with 7 years in Application Development and Support and 3 years in a supervisory role Strong understanding of healthcare systems and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) Proficiency in modern development frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) Demonstrated leadership in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe
