Executive Assistant to Director - Admin, HR & Events Lead

Montana State University is hiring an Assistant to the Director. This role provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Montana AHEC/Rural Health, manages executive scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reconciliation, recruitment coordination, and oversees daily office operations to ensure organizational efficiency and adherence to University policies. Highlights Manage calendar, meetings, email correspondence, and travel arrangements for the Director. Process and reconcile travel and business expenses using ChromeRiver, ensuring policy compliance. Oversee daily office operations, including supply ordering and equipment maintenance coordination. Plan and coordinate internal events such as retreats, trainings, and staff meetings both in-person and virtually. Serve as HR liaison, facilitating recruitment, hiring, and personnel workflow compliance. Required qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in office management or administrative roles, strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred skills include executive assistant experience, familiarity with Montana State University systems (ChromeRiver, SmartBuy), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom. Salary range: $20.49 - $25.61 hourly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Position supports Montana AHEC/MORH within the College of Nursing and relies on continued grant funding.
