ComResource is looking for an Information Technology Support Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Level I support to internal customers, support business systems, and provide additional technical knowledge where applicable.
• Respond to and triage employee-submitted help desk tickets.
• Maintain all end-user devices including timely OS updates, application software updates, and endpoint security.
• Resolve configuration, application, and connectivity issues; printing problems; perform necessary diagnostics; and coordinate third-party vendor contacts for repair.
• Maintain production inventories of end-user equipment including tracking equipment lifecycle, equipment repairs, and configuration compliance.
• Deploy systems for employees including configuring memory, network components, docking stations, and peripherals; install and configure PC software; add customized directories and files; set up and connect systems to the network; and provide user orientation on system training, configuration, and printing options.
• Accurately track installations and maintain activity, production, inventory, and service level reporting.
• Maintain current technology knowledge and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Assist with executing pilot tests for new technology.

Essentials:

• Associate degree in information technology, computer science, or another computer-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting PC technology in a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of system support procedures.
• Knowledge of the function and setup of PCs, network interface cards, printers, and LAN.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems and basic configuration.
• Working knowledge of PC system tools including endpoint security and system maintenance.
• Working knowledge of desktop networking.
• Working knowledge of Office products and O365.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to convey information clearly across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to define problems, generate solutions, and make timely decisions.
• Ability to travel to sites to perform installations, support, and training as necessary.

Desired:

• Prior experience working with banking systems.
• A+ and MCP certifications.
