About This Role As the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room (OR) at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, you will lead and oversee 19 operating rooms, ensuring the best possible patient care and managing daily operations. Highlights Location: Weston, FL Facility: Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Manage the operation and practice of professional nursing and delivery of nursing care on an assigned unit. Establish clinical direction of nursing care, provide clinical supervision, and maintain quality outcomes and patient care standards. Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care. Develop quality initiatives and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit. Supervise caregivers and promote development. Maintain adherence to JCAHO and other regulatory standards. Develop and monitor budgets, approve purchases, and establish/revise inventory quotes. Analyze personnel structure and determine staffing needs. Evaluate performance, conduct selection and termination processes, and develop strategic plans. Participate in clinical nursing research and support foundation research activities. Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required Experience Three years of recent clinical nursing experience including at least one year of healthcare management experience required Two years of Operating Room manager experience preferred Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within the first year of hire About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
