Work location Texas Health Frisco Work hours PRN position with scheduling based on department needs and open availability. Shifts typically Monday–Friday with occasional on‑call duties. Candidates must live within one hour of the facility. Guaranteed one shift per week, scheduled on Monday or Friday. Participation in the department’s on‑call and holiday rotation is required. Inclusive and Patient‑Focused Culture – diverse and inclusive, with emphasis on exceptional patient care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine. Associate’s Degree preferred. Hospital experience preferred. ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine upon hire required. CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB upon hire required. CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by TDH or TMB upon hire required. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care, maintained quarterly. Strong communication, computer, and venipuncture skills. Responsibilities Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member prior to exam. Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, and makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed. Utilizes proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS/RIS. Uses multidisciplinary, team‑oriented actions. Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time‑out procedures. Operates, cares for, and maintains equipment.
