Our technology solutions help maximize the benefits of previous investments and implement newer, more efficient ones that free up agency time and resources to move U.S. Federal customers forward in their missions.As an experienced Federal Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating, memorializing and administering FAR Part 12 commercial item engagements of varying complexity. You will review, analyze, and negotiate sales agreements with some of Dell’s largest Federal customers in the U.S. and Dell’s network of resellers. Deals will involve public sector terms and conditions and procurement rules, intellectual property, resellers, and commercial contract law.You will:Interact effectively with senior management as both an advisor and business leaderLead negotiations for the sale of information technology products (such as computers, servers, storage, cloud and software) and services (such as managed and professional services)Work with Government business practices, intellectual property, resellers, leasing companies, and commercial contract lawCollaborate with sales, operations, finance, legal, tax, and services to ensure that agreements adequately protect Dell’s interestsReview and provides input on terms and conditions contained in RFx documentsDraft and review government contracting forms, documents and agreements (RFPs, CRADA’s OTAs, partner agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, etc.)Work closely with segment legal counsel to ensure compliance with the FAR, DFARS and other applicable regulationsTake the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Contract Administration, Finance, Business or related field with 12+ years relevant experience; or equivalent relevant experience8+ years directly related experience negotiating, drafting, and administering government contracts, preferably in the Information Technology sectorExtensive knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and commercial item contracting regulations, procedures and practicesSuperior knowledge and experience with negotiating, analyzing, drafting and administering government contracting forms, documents and agreementsContracts Management certification highly desirable (CFCM, CPCM)Desirable RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a high-level U.S. Government security clearance and experience working and operating in a global companyKnowledge of, and experience with, compliance related provisions such as the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, and organizational conflicts of interest regulations and knowledge of business principles and Federal procurement and acquisition lawCompensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
