Position Summary

As an RN – PACU (Peds), you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to pediatric patients recovering from anesthesia. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safety and comfort of young patients during their post-operative recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess pediatric patients in the PACU, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of experience in a PACU, pediatric, or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• A commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
