What You'll DoPersonal Care Services

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including:
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Nail, skin, oral, foot, and hair care
• Safe mobility assistance, ambulation, and transfers
• Range-of-motion exercises
• Use of assistive devices such as walkers, canes, and crutches
• Toileting assistance and incontinence care
• Meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance
• Providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful conversation
• Encouraging participation in recreational and social activities
• Maintaining accurate client documentation
• Following agency policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures

Household Support

• Help clients maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment through:
• Light housekeeping
• Changing bed linens
• Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and mopping
• Kitchen cleaning and dishwashing
• Bathroom cleaning
• Personal laundry for the client
• Grocery shopping and errands
• Other agreed-upon household support services

Requirements:

• Passion for serving others and helping clients live their best possible lives
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience providing care to seniors in a home care or facility setting
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB (PPD) test results or chest X-ray
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA certification (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility, transfers, and personal care needs
• Sufficient physical, visual, and hearing abilities to provide quality care and ensure client safety
• Ability to perform job duties in accordance with agency policies and client care plans
